Welcome to India!

(Bus transfer: 560 km/350 miles)

After arriving at the Dehli airport and picking up your luggage (Baggage claim), please exit the arrival hall and look for our local representative, which will give you a warm welcome. When everyone has arrived, we transfer to the Hotel for a small rest. In the late evening hours, we depart for Manali by night bus, which arrives there early the next morning.

(Explorer & fun day)

Soak in the great views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal Ranges, a year-round magnet for tourists.We start this explorer day with an introduction to the Motorbikes and the local Tour Leader team. Thereafter, we explore the main street and the mall road, which is part of the highway that runs to downtown. We recommend exploring Old Manali to enjoy shopping and food.

(Driving day 1: Optional km/miles)

After a local breakfast, we test ride our Royal Enfields and start to feel the real passion for driving in this beautiful landscape. Feel free to ride around the city & surrounding areas, and to explore the local markets. We meet for dinner at the hotel.

(Driving day 2: 140 km/88 miles)

We start our riding adventure and head towards Jispa, a small mountain village in the middle of rivers and spectacular peaks. We ride the famous Leh Manali Hwy, which has views & curves which your biker heart will remember forever. This will also be your first exposure to the ex-Buddhist kingdom, which has unparalleled beauty and loads to explore.

Welcome to a day for the history books! Today we will ride two of the highest mountain passes worldwide, which might take your breath away, both by their sheer beauty and magnificence. When we cross the Lachulung La pass (4920 meters), you will see the clouds over your head and mountains disappearing in the clouds. The other pass, the Tanglang La pass (5350 above sea level), is accessible only for 4 months in a year, otherwise, it is covered with snow. Having crossed both majestic passes we enter the beautiful city Leh, where we spend the afternoon exploring it further.

(Explorer & fun day)

We spend the day exploring the monasteries of Hemis, Thiksey, Shey and the Shanti Stupa. Afterward, we return to Leh, where the evening is free to explore the local markets.

(Driving day 5: 274 km/172 miles)

Another day for the history books! On our way to Nubra Valley, we ride across the highest drivable pass that in the world; the Khardung La (5680 meters). Our Bikes will be thumping away in rhythm to explore the beauty of this terrain and spectacular views. At some crossroads, the roads will seem to be colliding with the mountains. When reaching the highest point of the pass, you might feel like a king, standing on top of the world. Thereafter, we set a route to the Buddhist Temple of Hundar. We continue our tour through this majestic landscape with scenic beauty ensconcing the colors of rivers, mountains, mud, and snow.  We spend a cozy evening together in the local tented camp.

(Driving day 6: 274 km/172 miles)

We return to Leh on the same route and crossing the same landscapes, albeit in a different light of the day. Again, we stop at the top of the Khardung La pass, taking some photographs and lifetime memories.

(Driving day 7: 160 km/100 miles)

We drive to Lake Tsokar. The serene lake will mesmerize you so you would surely want to come back.

(Driving day 8: 255 km/141 miles)

We head back to Jispa, riding across spectacular landscapes and mountains, rivers and valleys. Once again we stop to absorb the natural beauty of the Lachalung La pass.

(Driving day 9: 140 km/88 miles)

The end of our adventure tour in the breathtaking Himalayas is fastly approaching, as this is our last driving day. We enjoy our ride the fun curvy roads on the Leh Manali Highway, before reaching Manali by afternoon. We return our motorcycles, and head to the hotel, and have a farewell dinner together.

We spend the day exploring the old town of Manali. In the evening we return to Delhi by (night) bus.

The day is free to explore Delhi and relax after your Top of the World Himalayan Trip. We meet for a farewell dinner in the evening.

We say goodbye to India and return home. Group travel by shuttle to the airport. Thanks for a great ride, good times, and sincerely thank you for choosing to tour with JoyRides.
